2009 is the year when Hello Kitty celebrates her 35th Anniversary. In August this year, a great project was held in Hong Kong called “KittyLab” to commemorate this joyful date. The “KittyLab” is Hello Kitty’s Experimental City. The following is a map of the whole project.

Map of KittyLab
As can be seen in the above map, there are various interesting places to visit, namely:
- Mrs. Ribbon Salon
- Kitty Boutique
- Kitty Cafe
- Badtz Maru Playground
- Kuromi Cinema
Once I entered the experimental city, I was given a Kitty KTA and I had to accompany Kitty KTA when accessing various buildings in the experimental city to record the data through the nurturing project.

Before each mission in each of the building, I had to put my Kitty KTA on the reader until I had completed the task and heard the sound of completion of the data record. Once I had completed a specific nurturing target, the light glowing on the Kitty KTA’s cheek changed colour and notified me with an alarming sound. I was also given the next destination I had to visit so as to complete the whole nurturing process for my Kitty KTA. I did not have to worry about getting lost because I could always find my way again in the Kitty Police Station. It was really fun going around all those fascinating places, especially if you are a Hello Kitty fans like me.
After completion of all my tasks, I was awarded with a Kitty ID Card on which the image of my personalized Hello Kitty was printed in gold ink. Since I had completed my task 2 minutes in advance of the target deadline of 30 minutes, I was also awarded the Hello Kitty Good Citizen Medal.

Before I left this marvellous place, I of course bought some souvenirs as a memory. The one I liked most is the Dr. Kitty Doll which can make a random sound when I pressed on the belly of the doll. It’s really cute and lovely. Do you agree with me?

P.S. I want to dedicate this post to all my internet friends who had given me great support during the past few months. In particular, I want to give my special thanks to RE of Mama ASID’s EntrePod who had aroused my interest to write my blog again. I recall the dream I want to achieve through this blog, namely, to bring my visitors a joyous, loving and peaceful feeling even when they leave my blog and I again hope that you can make my dream come true.
THANKS A LOT!!! Me~~~~ow!!!

Hello, my beloved friends! I’ve had a very, very busy and frustrated month and did not have the energy to blog for a long time. Nevertheless, thanks to the continual support from all of you, I managed to get through my difficult tasks and started to write again.
The weather in Hong Kong last month was very bad. There are a lot of thunderstorms and rain. Luckily, I photographed a lightning scene and want to share with you all here.

Hong Kong is a metropolitan city and so the traffic is always very heavy in the Central District, even in times of heavy rain and bad weather.

The following is a photograph of the night view of Hong Kong Bank (with the addition of some photographic effects). I hope that you also like it.
