MAC x Hello Kitty Cosmetics and Accessories Collection 2009

During the past months, there were rumors circulating in the blogs about the collaboration of MAC and Hello Kitty to create a new product line.  The limited edition collection finally became available at MAC’s website on 10 February 2009 and in MAC US stores on 12 February 2009 (just in time for Valentine’s Day!!) However, such limited edition collection will only be available overseas starting from March 2009 so I want to share with you here the product line so that you can get prepared for it.

MAC x Hello Kitty Collection

The MAC x Hello Kitty Cosmetics Collection has two series, the Hello Kitty Colour Collection and the more high end Hello Kitty Kouture.  The Hello Kitty Colour Collection includes 6 shades of lipsticks (with names like “Fashion Mews” and “Straying”), 6 Lipglass shades, 2 tinted lip conditioners, 2 eye shadow palettes with 4 different shades, 2 Reflects Glitter stockkeeping units (one blue and one pink), 4 Glitter Eye Liners, 2 shades of Beauty Powder, 3 shades of nail polish, a black mascara and false lashes. 

The Hello Kitty Kouture Collection is a high-end line and great for collectors.  The range consists of 2 shades of Dazzleglass (each featuring a reusable silver chain pendant with Hello Kitty outlined in white Swarovski crystals on black with a pink crystal bow), 3 shades of Sheer Mystery Powder (packaged in a silver powder compact with Hello Kitty outlined in white Swaroski crystals with a pink crystal bow on a black background).

Moreover, besides the Cosmetics Collection, there is also a limited edition Accessories Collection consisting of Plush Doll, Petite Makeup Bag, Makeup Bag, Soft Vanity Case and Tote, etc.
